Tiny Tigers seeks a highly qualified individual to serve as a childcare teacher. Tiny Tigers Childcare is committed to excellence in care and early childhood education.
Job Responsibilities: Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
● Engage children in activities and play that stimulates their development.
● Appropriately supervise children while always keeping them safe.
● Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., diapering/restroom, feeding, dressing).
● Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children and parents.
● Facilitate daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for their ages.
● Creating and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for the children.
● Reports and deficiencies or safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
● Follow safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
● Minimum—High school diploma or equivalent education.
● 12 months experience in working with children and/or a certificate in early childhood.
education. First aid and CPR certifications are required within 3 months of hire. Must meet eligibility requirements for a “Teacher” under MN DHS licensing requirements for childcare centers.
● Mentally & physically capable of caring for children alone in a classroom.
● Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual and have minimal absences.
● Ability to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull and carry up to fifty pounds.
● Have dependable transportation.
Pay and Benefits:
Starting wage depends on experience. Vacation & Sick paid time, Health & Life insurance, and long-term disability benefits.
Shift(s): Full or Part Time available – Shifts negotiable.
