Summer School Coordinator – High School
7 Hours per DayÂ
June 17 to July 10, 2024
$31.25 per Hour
**Responsibilities:**
1. Day-to-Day Management of Students and Teachers:
  – Supervise and support teachers in delivering high-quality instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  – Provide guidance and mentorship to students, addressing any academic or behavioral concerns that may arise.
   – Conduct regular check-ins with students and teachers to assess progress and address any challenges.
2. Teacher Scheduling for Flex:Â
– Coordinate and manage the scheduling of teachers for our Independent program
  – Collaborate with the academic leadership team to optimize teacher assignments and allocate resources effectively.
  – Communicate scheduling changes and updates to teachers in a timely manner.
3. Assisting and Posting Grades to Transcript:
  – Assist teachers in recording and posting grades to student transcripts accurately and efficiently.
  – Ensure compliance with grading policies and procedures, and address any discrepancies or issues as needed.
  – Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling student records and academic data.
4. Loading Classes into Edmentum:
  – Manage the process of loading classes into the Edmentum platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  – Troubleshoot technical issues related to class loading and provide support to teachers and students as needed.
  – Collaborate with IT staff to optimize the functionality and usability of the Edmentum system.
5. Managing Students Who Don’t Meet Hour RequirementsÂ
  – Monitor student attendance and participation to identify those who do not meet hour requirements.
  – Work closely with students, parents, and teachers to develop individualized plans for addressing attendance issues and improving academic performance.
  – Provide support and resources to help students overcome barriers to success and meet program requirements.
