Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking 2 FTEs for Speech and Language Pathologists at our Elementary buildings beginning with the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Candidates should be appropriately licensed/certified through the State of Minnesota or be eligible for tiered licensure. Candidates possessing multiple licenses, certifications, and/or endorsements are always preferred, but not mandatory.

West Elementary is located on the west side of Hutchinson and serves students pre-K through 1st grade. West is a unique building where we educate the Districts’ first learners – Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Graders. There is a wonderful energy in the building, and families love the West experience. We are excited to provide quality curriculum based on research, best practice, and state standards. Tiger Elementary School serves students in second and third grade. We have an exceptional staff that provides our students with consistent, research-based instruction tailored to their unique needs. Grade-level teams collaborate with specialists in music, physical education, STEM and art as well as enrichment, special education, and Title 1 to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners. Park Elementary School is located near downtown Hutchinson, serving approximately 400 students in grades 4 and 5. We have a qualified, exceptional staff working together to provide consistent research-based instruction while tailoring learning to individual needs. Grade levels collaborate with specialists in music, physical education, library, technology, keyboarding, art, and science as well as Gifted/Talented, Special Education, and Title 1 to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners. Additionally, extended-day and extended-year classes are also offered.  Park Elementary believes in Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control (C.A.R.E.S.). This position may be eligible for a hiring incentive payment of up to $2,000 during the first year of employment, a retention incentive payment of up to $1,000 during the second year of employment, a retention incentive payment of up to $1,000 during the third year of employment, and a retention incentive payment of up to $2,000 during the sixth year of employment.
