Special Education Teacher Long Term Substitute

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Long-Term substitute teacher to join our eighth-grade team. As a substitute teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary instruction and accommodations to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Responsibilities include writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing specialized instruction to small groups in the special education environment, co-teaching wtihin the general education environment, collaborating with school staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student success, monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to their educational program, maintain accurate records, utilize assistive technology to enhance student learning and accessibility, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their student.

Qualifications:
Valid MN Special Education Teaching license. 
Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.

Salary:
Based on Master Agreement
