Position Summary:
This is a long term sub preschool teacher position with Bright Beginnings pre-kindergarten program. The Bright Beginnings preschool program provides a developmentally appropriate environment that stimulates student development and mastery using the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress for cognitive, social/emotional, language, literacy and physical/motor development of 4-year-olds.
Qualifications:
A valid Minnesota teaching license in early childhood is required. Training and background in continuous improvement, MN Early Childhood Indicators of Progress and Cor Advantage preferred. Curriculum experience also sought include Fountas and Pinnell, Everyday Math, Visual Phonics, Conscience Discipline and SMART. Demonstrated use of research-based practices and approaches to ensure all learners achieve at the highest levels. Current first aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain.
Position Requirements:
Successful 2 years of experience in partnering with preschool families around preparing young children for school readiness. Successful candidate must demonstrate ability to work as a team member in a culture of excellence to deliver programs that address the positive development of children and families in diverse populations. Demonstrated communication and organizational skills required.
FTE/Schedule:
1.0 FTE long term sub May 20 – June 5, 2024. Hours M-Th 8:10-3:30, F 11:45 – 3:15

Based on Master Agreement, 2023-2024
