POSITION:

Cultural Liaison ( American Indian families)

LOCATION:

Edina Public Schools 

RATE OF PAY:

Starting annual salary of $58,767, pursuant to  Confidential , Supervisory & Technical Employees Guidebook

BENEFITS:

Pursuant to the Confidential , Supervisory & Technical Employees Guidebook 

HOURS PER WEEK:

40 hours

DAILY SCHEDULE:

8 hours M-F

DAYS PER YEAR:

190 days/year (with 9 paid holidays)

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

Required:

  • B.A. or B.S in education, behavioral sciences or related field
  • Bi-lingual speaker, experience with various cultural family systems.
  • Experience working with students and families
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Effective communication skills

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working with diverse student populations

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to utilize technology in learning opportunities
  • Ability to maintain professional composure while dealing with a variety of personalities and situations
