Cheer Team – Assistant Coach

Assistant Sideline Cheer Coach Position:

The Sideline Cheer Team is looking for an assistant coach for this upcoming 2024 season! 

• Expected Commitment: July- November (depending on football playoffs)
• Booster paid position
• Games: Fridays at 7pm except MEA week and playoffs

Expectations/Responsibilities:

• Must be out of high school for at least 3 years
• Must be willing to get stunt certified (if not already)
• Attend all regular and post season games
• Attend practices – 2 per week
• Assist head coach with planning schedules
• Assist head coach with planning and executing fundraisers
• Assist head coach with recruitment of new athletes
• Attend and help with school events, community events and misc events as they come up
• Provide a secure and productive learning environment for athletes 
• Communicate with athletes in a respectful, encouraging manner
• Other related duties as assigned
