The SouthWest Metro Intermediate District #288 has a Full-Time opening for a Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TBVI) for the FY24-FY25 school year in Chaska, MN.

Description:
Blind Visual Impairment Teacher, 8 hours a day for 185 Contract Days. 
This is an itinerant position assigned to SouthWest Metro Intermediate member Districts.
 
Pay & Benefits: 
Starting pay at $48,076 based on education and experience for the 24-25 School Year. Competitive and comprehensive benefit package available.
 
Job Summary:
Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired (TBVI), serving students from birth to 21 years. The position involves evaluation, direct and consultative service in school and home environments. 

Qualifications:

• Possess a certified BVI licensure.
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s license is necessary as this position requires travel to the students’ assigned schools and/or home to provide direct and/or consultative services.
