POSITION SUMMARY:
The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that ensures student success socially, emotionally and intellectually. This includes developing lesson plans, delivering instruction within a gradual release model, and performing formative and summative assessments based on the MN Academic Standards.  The teacher will also be responsible for collaborating with colleagues, in an effort to best respond to student needs, as well as communicating with parents in regard to student performance and growth.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree required.
• Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and subject area certification required.
• One to three years of teaching experience preferred.
• Coaching and/or activity sponsorship experience beneficial
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field
