The teacher will provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, psychological, and social growth. This person is responsible for organizing and implementing instructional programs that result in academic success in accordance with the school mission, vision, programs, and policies.
The Math teacher will provide instruction and supervision for secondary grade-level students. The Math teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Math curriculum according to the school’s program objectives to students; conducting instruction that is coherent, purposeful, and engaging; continually assessing student development and performance; preparing and providing feedback on student progress to students and families.
Under the direction of the principal, this position works extensively with small groups of struggling students to help them improve specific reading and math concepts & skills. This person also substitutes for teachers when the teachers are absent.
