Description: Youth Program staff  plan and lead high-quality youth enrichment activities through the district’s 21st Century out-of-school time programs. Staff will be required to serve as positive role models for all youth and independently supervise groups of up to 20 youth at a time. Positions are available at our elementary and middle/high school sites; some positions may work at multiple sites.

Job Summary: Engages groups of students in out-of-school time program activities, creates high-quality lesson plans for activities in areas of youth interest that target social and emotional learning goals, ensures the safety and well-being of all students in the program. Flexibility to support youth and program needs as they change on a daily basis is required. 

Qualifications:

  • Must be 17 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to positively interact with youth and support their development
  • Previous experience working with youth preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Seeking staff for the following shifts:
    Elementary: 1:45pm – 4:45pm or 1:30pm – 6:15pm
    High School: 3:15pm – 6:15pm or 3:15pm – 7:45pm
  • Must be able to go outside daily
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds
  • Must be able to supervise up to 20 students at a time
