Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per Teachers Contract

Work week: 1.0 FTE
Student Level: White Bear Lake Area High School (0.5 FTE) and White Bear Lake Area Learning Center (0.5 FTE)
Position Summary:
Technology Education position with an emphasis on Construction Careers and PLTW experience preferred at White Bear Lake Area High School and Area Learning Center. A successful candidate has the opportunity to work in an new and innovative high school building while supporting a broad spectrum of school students and ensuring that all students can answer “yes” to the following questions: Do I belong here? Is this meaningful? Can I do this?
Possession of or ability to acquire a Transportation Careers CTE license is preferred but not required. Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, experience with PLTW is preferred.
Special Requirements:
Minnesota Teaching License Required.
Construction Careers CTE License
