The role of Building Substitute will allow you to expand your teaching skills and create a work history that leads to a long term substitute assignment and possibly a permanent assignment for the 2024-25 school year.
Job Summary:
Plan, teach, and carry out all functions related to teaching in a classroom setting in the building you serve.
Your Principal will give you a daily assignment where you will follow the instructions and schedule created by the teacher you are replacing. Training will be provided to allow you to be comfortable in this role. Pending your performance, you could be asked to stay on for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with interest in obtaining an MN teaching license or Short Call Sub License
- Prior teaching experience is not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Classroom environment.
