Salary: Based on Teacher’s Work Agreement, 32 Hours per Week Timesheeted
Supervisor of Position:  Administrator / Alternative Education Supervisor
Qualifications:  Must have valid Minnesota teaching license to teach 6-12.

Summer School Details:

  • 6/3/24-6/18/24 M-F (12 Total Days)
  • Staff Hours: 7:30AM – 3:00PM, Student Hours: 8:00AM – 2:25PM (32 Hours Per Week on Timesheet)
    • Teachers will teach/prepare for 3 Periods a Day
  • 2024 Summer School will be comprehensive, not packet/Edmentum based. Teachers will be asked to teach 3 – 1:55 Hour classes; this may include as many as 3 different courses.
    • Comprehensive means these classes are teacher designed, and led (like a traditional High School class). Curriculum must be condensed to reflect the 1:55 Hour, 12 day schedule.
    • Curriculum must be designed by the teacher, any purchased curriculum needs will be identified before the start of Summer School.

*All staffing is subject to student referrals, and needs. You may be offered a position, but as referrals/registrations come in April/May staffing needs may change.

  • Shows commitment to stay current with best practices and professional development in mathematics.
  • Participate in school wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (individual and school wide acknowledgements and activities)
