Description:
We are looking for a full-time, licensed teacher (preferably science or willing to teach science on a waiver) who is willing to also be an advisor to 22 students in grades 8-12. We are a small, project-based school looking for someone who is self-directed and adventurous. We like to get our hands dirty and explore our world.
 
Qualifications:
MN teaching license is required (or ability to get one)
We would prefer a science license, but can work with any current teaching license.
Experience working in charters or alternative education settings is preferred, but not required.
 
About the School:
Northern Lights Community School is a tuition free public charter school for grades 6-12 located in Warba, MN. NLCS is an environmental project based school that is authorized by the Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center.
