Description

Description:  Roseville Area Schools is seeking candidates to teach math and reading through hands-on academic project based enrichment classes to elementary students with small class sizes of 15-18 students. Each classroom will be given a set of supplies and a small class specific budget for desired projects.

Summer Targeted Services elementary locations: Edgerton (1st-6th), and RAMS (7th-8th).

Program dates: June 17 – July 19 (Monday-Friday) – no classes June 19, July 4th & 5th.  Program runs from 8:30-12:30pm. Teachers are paid for 6 hours/day which includes 4 hours of student contact time. Site by site training will occur prior to student arrival.  Teachers are paid for up to 10 hours of preparation prior to summer classes beginning.  

Note: In order to provide consistency for the students, we ask that if you plan to be on vacation for longer than one week during the programming dates, that you apply as a substitute. If you know the dates you’ll be gone, please indicate them in the ‘additional notes’ section at the end of the application process.

Qualifications:

  • A current MN Teaching License is required.  
  • Commitment to an equitable education experience for all.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural competence.

Compensation:  $32.00 per hour.
