Description:
The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District has licensed openings for the 2024 summer school program located at Sky Oaks Elementary School and Nicollet Middle School. The ALC grades K-2nd summer program at Sky Oaks Elementary School and grades 3rd-5th at Nicollet Middle School. The calendar and schedule include the following:
Daily Schedule: Approximately 7:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday through Friday
Calendar:
June 12 and 13 Teacher PD Days: Required PD days are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Daily schedule: Approximately 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
Week 1: June 17, 18, 20, 21 Bus Drop off Time: 7:30-7:45
Week 2: June 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 Breakfast: 7:30 – 8:00
Week 3: July 1, 2, 3 Lunch: 11:15 – 12:30
Week 4: July 8, 9, 10, 11 Bus Pick Up Time: 2:45 – 3:00
Week 5: July 15, 16, 17, 18 Student Class Schedule: 8:00 – 2:45
Week 6: July 22, 23, 24, 25
Week 7: July 29, 30, 31, August 1
Requirements:
Current Teaching License
Preferred Qualifications:
– Elementary teaching licensed preferred
– Preference given to candidates committing to the entire six weeks
* Job shares may be possible depending upon schedule and need
– Experience teaching elementary summer school
– Experience with Project-Based Learning at the elementary level
– Experience utilizing data to inform instruction
Rate of pay:
Per contract $31.25 hourly
Total teacher pay for the summer program is approximately $7,187.50 for 30 days
***Summer hours are not guaranteed and reductions may occur based upon enrollment.
