Summer Learning Site Coordinator, Elementary School

Position Description:
The Summer Learning Site Coordinator works with the Summer Learning Administration Team to develop the overall program and administers and supervises the Elementary School Summer Learning Program.

Compensation: Stipend in the amount of $9,906.10

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
A. Coordinates course offerings with elementary school administration.
B. Coordinate with Culinary staff for breakfast and lunch.
C. Assists elementary school teams in registration of their students.
D. Works with the Summer Learning Director to coordinate enrollment, hiring, busing, purchasing and payroll to set up and run the program
E. Works with the Summer Learning Director in the development and implementation of the budget.
F. Attends pre-planning meetings as called by the Summer Learning Director.
G. Works with the Summer Learning Director to hire teachers and paraprofessionals.
H. Manages student discipline and supervises hall, restrooms and other areas of the building.
I. Contacts and meets with parents, special education, social workers, probation officers and other court representatives regarding students enrolled in the summer programs.
J. Works with transportation scheduling and Transportation Director.
K. Establishes and executes purchasing and payroll information.
L. Prepares reports as needed.
M. Performs miscellaneous duties in relationship to job description as needed or as requested by the Summer Learning Director or as apparent.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree Preferred
• Admin license preferred
