Summer – KidKare Assistants or Supervisors

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to provide a safe, fun and learning environment for all children.
• Interact directly and actively with the children during all activities including gym/physical activities and outside.
• Planning & implementing daily activities for children.
• Communicate positively with students, parents and staff.
• Keep close supervise children at all time.
• Keep work area clean & orderly at all times.
• Be a positive role model for all children.
• Knowledge of KidKare guidelines, policies and procedures and be familiar with the parent handbook.
• Report to the KidKare Coordinator.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Assistants:
  • Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
  • Must enjoy children.
• Supervisors:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older. 
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare setting. 
  • Knowledge of positive behavior guidance and child development.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and take direction from Lead Supervisor.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide active, nurturing care.
  • Must enjoy children.
  • CPR/First Aid certified.
