Student Supervisor
Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Paraeducators Contract
Start Date: August 2024, School Year 2024 – 2025
Work week: 7 hrs 45 mns per day; M-F
Student Level: Middle School, grades 6-8,
Position Summary:
The Student Supervisor supports the smooth running of the school by supervising and directing students before, during, and after the school day. They welcome students to school, supervise students during all lunch periods, monitor hall/bathroom traffic, and help clear the building after school paying particular attention to student safety and security. They report to the administrative team but also work closely with campus security and teaching staff. The most successful individuals in this position, enjoy the company of middle school students, and have a genuine interest in getting to know them. Other duties may be required during the day, subject to building needs.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.
Special Requirements:
Valid driver’s license in the State of Minnesota
