Dassel-Cokato Schools is searching for a speech-language pathologist to provide therapy in the school setting for students who qualify for special education services with speech and/or language concerns. This position will support speech-language needs in the Dassel-Cokato school district, building(s) to be determined.

Required Qualifications: 

–Current MN PreK-12 Speech Language Pathologist License, or the ability to acquire 

***Candidates with Speech-Language Assistant (SLPA) certification may be considered

–Strong desire to work with children with special needs in an educational setting

–Strong collaboration and communication skills with multiple stakeholders

–Knowledge of due process procedures, including evaluation procedures and writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

–Ability to complete third party billing procedures

Starting salary is based upon training and experience. Additional benefits include access to annual professional development and compensation for having a current Certificate of Clinical Competence.
