Description
We are looking for candidates who, in addition to striving for classroom excellence, have a passion for leading students in extracurricular activities. Candidates that are committed to furthering our students’ experiences beyond the school day will be given increased consideration.
- Perform professional work assessing individuals
- Deliver instructional and clinical services to individuals
- Work with small groups of students with speech and language impairments
- This position will provide these services within a variety of settings, including general education and special education settings
- Current MN PreK-12 Speech Language Pathologist License, or the ability to acquire
- Strong desire to work with children with special needs in an educational setting
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of due process procedures, including evaluation procedures and writing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Ability to complete third party billing procedures
Starting salary is based upon training and experience. Additional benefits include access to annual professional development and compensation for having a current Certificate of Clinical Competence
