Position Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Primary Location: District Wide
Assignment Specifications:  1.0fte; 184 Days; 2024-25 School Year

Classification: C-5-1
Exempt Status: Exempt
 
Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing speech therapy services to students for language and oral motor skills. The pathologist will diagnose needs and determine a specific and appropriate treatment plan tailored to the student and then carry out plan with student. Additionally, the Speech Language Pathologist documents services and maintains timely due process documentation related to billing requirements, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
 
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold, or be eligible to hold, a Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. Preference may be given to candidates with experience in speech therapy, specifically in a school setting or with school-aged students.
