Description

The Sartell-St. Stephen School District is looking for special education paraprofessionals to fill its extended school year schedule.  Positions available for all grade levels.

SPED Paraprofessional – Extended School Year (multiple openings)
Multiple Buildings
Approx. 4 hours/day; between 7:30am-12:00pm (actual time may vary based on transportation)
Range IV (starting wage $17.34/hour)

Dates
June 12-16, 20-22
July 31- August 3
August 7-10

Locations
PK:  Oak Ridge Early Learning Center
K-5:  Pine Meadow Primary School
6-12:  Sartell High School

Summary:
The Special Education Paraprofessionals provide assistance, under classroom teacher direction, to students identified with special needs by helping them stay on task, complete assignments, maintain acceptable behavior, and function in daily living and job skills. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
1.  High School diploma 
2.  Acceptance of students’ disabilities and limitations.
3.  Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
4.  Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team.

SALARY:
Based on the Paraprofessional Agreement salary schedule Level IV, Step 1 at $17.34/hr.
