North Branch Area Middle School is looking for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teacher beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. This building serves students in grades 6-8. This position will support a small number of students in a resource room classroom. The students in the classroom have a variety of support needs, including academics and adaptive/functional needs. The classroom is also supported by educational assistants throughout the day. The caseload for this position is kept small (under 10 students) which allows for a focus on instruction and programming rather than paperwork.
Qualifications Required: Current Minnesota teaching license in Special Education; Developmental Disabilities (DCD) or ABS preferred
