Description

Rockford High School is seeking a Long Term Sub licensed Special Education Teacher.  This position will cover a leave from September 25, 2024 through December 18, 2024. This individual will work with students with various disabilities..  This individual must have strong communication and collaboration skills as well as a strong passion and commitment to work with students. 

This individual will work closely with colleagues to implement specialized instruction across a continuum of service. The individual needs to have collaborative teaching and consultative skills in working with multiple staff across learning environments. The teacher will have an understanding of service coordination with the related service providers and create a strong community of support for students. The individual will also work with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure accommodations and modifications are being implemented through lessons, activities, assignments, and tests. The individual will manage a data collection system which are currently in place.

All Special Education teaching licenses considered.
