Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a Setting 3 Program Special Education Paraprofessional at Roseville Area Middle School. This is a full time position for the 23-24 school year starting August 28, 2023. This position will provide academic and behavioral programming support to students with special needs in a middle school setting. Specifically, this position requires the applicant to be a resource for students by providing assistance with transitions, social skills, organization, planning, and problem-solving. Furthermore, this applicant must have a dynamic personality, ability to develop strong relationships with students and families, and possess the ability to team with colleagues. This position works 7.0 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Qualifications: Paraprofessionals must possess 60 semester/90 quarter credits of study from an institution of higher education or an AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, or must provide a passing score on the MN ParaPro Test. Compensation: Starting salary is $16.52- $18.63 per hour. Special Education paraprofessionals have an opportunity to earn an additional $2.00 per hour after completing online District Special Education Training.
