Work Schedule: 6 hours per day, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 2:30pm, Student contact days
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $18.00/hour
Requirements: In order to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, you must meet the state requirement of being Highly Qualifed prior to your start date. To be considered Highly Qualifed, you must have ONE of the following; a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associates Degree, or 60+ hours of post-secondary education, or a Passing Score on the ParaPro Exam. Please be prepared to submit documentation in support of your qualifications. (Acceptable documentation includes transcripts from the college or a copy of the ParaPro Exam report.)
Job Summary: This position is for a special education para professional at Oak-Land Middle School. Experience working with medically fragile, wheelchair bound, and non verbal individuals preferred. Students will need assistance with changing, eating, toileting, and daily tasks.
