Rockford Area Schools is currently accepting applications for Special Education Bus Route paraprofessional. Approximate route times are listed below.
– 1:30-3:45/4:00 pm
The candidate hired for this position will provide supervision and assistance to a Special Education student on a bus or van route. This highly qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills, greet student, help student to seat, ensure seatbelt is fastened, monitor and support positive student behavior, and reinforce rules and expectations as assigned by bus driver, teacher, and Special Education coordinator. It is preferred the candidate will have passed the Para-Pro test or hold a 2 year degree.Â
