Qualifications:Â Â Â
- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English – Proof of proficiency may be required
- Must be able to build strong, positive relationships with families and students
- Must have experience with teaching language through content Â
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Student Success Coordinator, district literacy coach(s) and curriculum to develop a strong immersion kindergarten program and classroom
- Teach language and content in Spanish 100% of the school day
- Work hours from 7:30-3:30 daily
- Regular communication with guardians on student progress
Start Date:
- New teacher workdays begin August 11, 2025
- Regular teacher contract start date is August 18, 2025
- Additional paid days through the summer of 2025Â to assist with family meetings and curriculum set-up
Licensure:Â Â Elementary teaching license by the State of Minnesota
Faribault Public Schools is a rural Pre-K through Adult School District located about 50 miles south of the Twin-Cities.
