Description
Responsibilities/Duties:
-
Provide instruction as defined by the IEP for students who receive who need specialized services in a setting 3 classroom.

Prepares lesson plans for specific direct instruction that aligns with student’s IEP goals.

Monitors student progress as described in student IEP’s and complete quarterly progress reports.

Collaborates with regular education teachers or other staff for the purpose of communicating information, resolving issues, and providing services.

Work together with service providers and case managers to ensure appropriate programming for students with disabilities.

Participates in professional learning communities, building and district wide professional developments.

Completes all required due process paperwork required and/or mandated by state and federal laws or as required by the District.

Plans, develops and writes individualized education programs (IEP’s) that address individualized learning goals, objectives, learning strategies and behavior management plans for students with special needs.

Qualifications & Application:
