Secondary Lead Teacher/Classroom Grades 7+ – Migrant Summer School

Migrant Summer School has opening for the following positions for our 2024 MSS Program
Glencoe MSS will run July 8-Aug. 1, M-TH in conjunction with the GSL Summer School Program, with training and time to prepare rooms and curriculum July 1-2, with a Registration/Family ‘Come Check Us Out Event’ July 2 during the normal day. 1 FTE   Secondary Lead Teacher/Classroom Grades 7+/Outreach Assistant
Duties include the grade appropriate instruction of students grades 7, Duties include grade appropriate assessment and remediation/acceleration of student academic needs focusing on Math/ELA, and overseeing groups in enrichment activities such as STEM, Art, Technology, assisting in community involvement and volunteer activities, and field trip coordination. etc. This position also has the chance to work with the migrant liaison for distance service outreach. Positions will be for MSS 7:30-3:30 M-Th. Job sharing possible. Hours and dates listed are not guaranteed nor contracted to be paid should classes not be able to be in session for any reason.
