Science Teacher

Fairmont Area Schools is seeking passionate, student-centered candidates to fill two Science Educator positions at the Jr./Sr. High School for the 2024-25 school year. These positions are available due to resignations at the junior high school level and will be long-term positions. Fairmont Area School District is located in Fairmont, Minnesota on I-90. “The City of Lakes” has a population of roughly 10,500 and attracts many professionals for manufacturing, service and agriculture related careers. Fairmont takes great pride in its public school and has repeatedly supported the district and the staff. This partnership makes living and working in the community a special setting where individual efforts can create impactful and sustainable change. 

Fairmont Area Schools serves about 1,800 students preK-12th grade in Fairmont and the surrounding area. Many families choose to open-enroll in Fairmont due to our committed staff, robust programming, and quality facilities. Graduating classes are roughly 140 students per year and classroom sizes are in the twenties.
