Position:  Full-time Science Instructor will serve 9-12 grade students starting Fall 2024-2025 school year and beyond.  This position will includeChemistry and Physics.
Work Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:0 am – 3:50 pm
License Required:  Valid 9-12 Chemistry or Physics Minnesota teaching license through PELSB
Salary/Benefits:  Pursuant to the Crookston Education Association ‘s (CEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement (see https://bit.ly/407rh7s )

Crookston Public Schools is seeking applicants for a full-time (1.0 FTE)  High School Physical Science Instructor for grades 9-12 beginning 2024-2025 school year.  Qualifications include valid MN teaching license in Chemistry or Physical Science; experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction; comfortable with integrating technology into curriculum and stron classroom management skills; effective communication skills; the ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.  Coaching opportunities along with other extracurricular athletic and fine arts coaching & advising positions are available but not required.  We offer an excellent salary and benefits package as per the Crookston Education Association Master Agreement.  (see https://bit.ly/3e5ZeOe )

Crookston, MN is located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota and has a population of approximately 7,800.  Agriculture is a very strong part of our community.   University of Minnesota-Crookston campus is located here and is a very strong member and supporter of our community.  Located just 25 miles east of Grand Forks, ND, we are close to the University of North Dakota, ample shopping, dining, recreational and fishing lakes, an international airport and more.   District enrollment size is approximately 1100 students, with the high school about 640 students grade 6-12.
