School Counselor or Social Worker 

184 Days (1.0 FTE)

 

Location: Mora Public Schools 

Job Duties include:  Performs professional work in individual, small group, and/or classroom settings to guide, assess, mentor, and counsel students.  Educate and provide emotional support, personal counseling, and other services to meet the unique needs of students. Collaborate with staff and parents to make recommendations for student success. Successful candidates will meet with students individually and in groups to work on specific skills.  Candidates will help create lessons for classroom teachers and may lead lessons in the classroom with the help of the homeroom teacher.  The candidate’s strengths may help determine the grades this position works with.

Qualifications:  Appropriate K-12 Minnesota Counselor or PK-12 Social Worker Licensure required.

Salary: Per Education Minnesota Mora Negotiated Master Agreement
