School Counselor or Social Worker

Location:  Pine City Jr/Sr High School AND Mora Schools

Commencing Date of Position:  As Soon As Possible

Qualifications: Valid Minnesota PELSB issued School Counselor or Social Worker LIcense or the ability to obtain. Chemical dependency background and/or ACE’s training preferred.

Job Description: Performs professional work in individual, small group, and/or classroom settings to guide, assess, mentor, and counsel students.  Educate and provide social-emotional and mental health support, personal counseling, and other services to meet the unique needs of students.  Act as liaison to the counseling department, and coordinate HHM, SpEd and 504 referrals.  Deliver Tier 2 and 3 interventions for Mora Alternative Learning Center.  Collaborate with local community resources, ALC and High School staff to bridge services for students and families to enhance student success.
