Red Cross Certified Lifeguard

Job Description:

• Provide an outstanding learning experience in swimming and water safety skills for all skill levels. 
• Provide a safe environment for all swimming participants
• Design and implement appropriate classes for swimming levels being taught in 25-minute and 50-minute lessons. 
• Communicate regularly with participants and their parents. 
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly pool environment. 

Qualifications:

• Available to attend training on Thursday, May 2 from 3:30pm – 5:30pm.
• Available to attend all lessons: Monday-Thursday, May 6-23, 3:30pm – 5:30pm
• Knowledge and application of water safety 
• Ability to interact with all ages
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Somali preferred, but not required

Requirements: Water Safety Instructor or Lifeguard Certification from the American Red Cross. Age 16+ for instructor. 

Rate of Pay:  $16.95/hr
