Readers Cafe Staff

Readers Cafe operates at our summer lunch site and offers a variety of activities, games, and literacy activities for families with children that attend summer lunch. This program will run from June 10 – July 26. Material preparation will be included in the hours for the week, about 12 hours a week.

Must be able to follow written and oral directions, self-transport, arrive on time, and communicate effectively with adults and children. Must be willing to engage with children of all ages (primarily preschool – elementary age) in a variety of activities, some active and some interactive. Will help set up reading center site by moving books from community storage site and changing out books throughout the summer.
