Up to $10,000 Hiring and Retention Bonus Possible: through a grant from The Come Teach in Minnesota Program, licensed teachers who are American Indian or people of color and who move to Minnesota may be eligible for a hiring bonus of up to $5,000. Qualifications:  Must have a valid Minnesota teaching license to teach Physical Education, grades K-12

Summary of Duties:  

• Develop lessons that engage students to succeed in Physical Education Classes.
• Work with fellow teachers through the PLC process to assist students in improving their student achievement.
• Ability to develop and enhance strength and conditioning classes.   An ideal candidate would have a background in strength and conditioning programing. 
• Understand the importance of creating classes that stress the importance of lifetime fitness for all students.  
• Proven skill in forming, building, and maintaining positive relationships with students, families and staff.
