About Zumbro Education District: ZED is an education district serving six member districts that include Triton, Kasson-Mantorville, Stewartville, Byron, Hayfield, and Blooming Prairie. ZED offers a wide array of sped and non-sped services to our member districts (please refer to www.zumbroed.org for details).
Job Summary: The speech therapist provides services to children with special needs when speech therapy is required for the student to benefit from special education. Speech therapists work to improve, develop, restore, or maintain a child’s active participation in communication development, leisure, and school routines.

Qualifications: Must be licensed by the Minnesota Department of Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or have the ability to obtain within a reasonable amount of time. Must be capable of serving in an itinerant capacity traveling independently between member districts.
