Middle School Play Director

The Middle School Play Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production of a middle school play.  This includes planning, organizing, and directing rehearsals, coordinating with school staff, and fostering an inclusive, creative environment for students. The Play Director will provide leadership and mentorship to middle school students, encouraging them to develop their skills in acting, stagecraft, and teamwork.

This position is an exciting opportunity to inspire and guide middle school students through the creative process of theater production, helping them build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the performing arts.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Experience directing or managing theatrical productions, preferably with middle school students. 
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Passion for working with young people and fostering their creativity.
• Ability to build an inclusive, positive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Familiarity with technical aspects of theater production (e.g., lighting, sound, set design) is a plus.

Compensation: Stipend Amount Range is $2,000-$2,500
