Math Teacher, Grade 8

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing education to students so that intellectual, emotional, developmental and social needs are met according to the district and state standards, that will foster life-long learning and good citizenship.

Required Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Minnesota teaching license in 5-8, 5-12 or 7-12 Mathematics
• Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, parents and administrators

Preferred Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Experience teaching or student teaching Mathematics at the middle school level
• Embraces middle school philosophy of educating the whole child (academic, social, emotional and cognitive)
• Knowledge of the Minnesota Mathematics Standards
• Ability to use technology to enhance curriculum
