Math Teacher 1.0 FTE Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate middle school math teacher to join our team at [Insert School Name]. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver math lessons that align with the middle school curriculum and standards
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in math education

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education, or Education or related field
• MN teaching License or eligibility for Licensure is preferred.
• Experience teaching middle school math is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of middle school math concepts and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
