Description

Park Rapids High School, is seeking a Licensed School Counselor for grades 7-12  beginning the 2024-2025 school year. Current K-12 MN licensure in School Counseling preferred or the ability to obtain MN licensure.  Candidates must have an understanding and appreciation for middle level and high school level learners, the ability to work cooperatively with other staff members, and strong classroom management. Coaching opportunities available.

Park Rapids Area Schools is located in Park Rapids, the county seat for Hubbard County. The population of Park Rapids in 2020 was 4,059 with a total county population at 21,783. Park Rapids Area Schools includes 4 schools that serve 1693 students ranging from grades PK through 12. In addition the school district has an active Alternative Learning Center that serves approximately 40 students and a Community Education that serves over 7,000 community members on an annual basis.
