Description
Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a full time Special Education – LD Teacher at our Park Elementary building beginning with the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Candidates should be appropriately licensed/certified as a teacher through the State of Minnesota or be eligible for tiered licensure. Candidates possessing multiple licenses, certifications, and/or endorsements are always preferred, but not mandatory.
West is a unique building where we educate the Districts’ first learners – Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Graders. There is a wonderful energy in the building, and families love the West experience. We are excited to provide quality curriculum based on research, best practice, and state standards. West offers small class sizes, enrichment, before school and summer programs, on-site media center, technology opportunities including iPads and Chromebooks, small group differentiated instruction in reading and math, Creative Curriculum (PreK), Music-Art-PE-STEM classes, and a family friendly atmosphere.

This position may be eligible for a hiring incentive payment of up to $2,000 during the first year of employment, a retention incentive payment of up to $1,000 during the second year of employment, a retention incentive payment of up to $1,000 during the third year of employment, and a retention incentive payment of up to $2,000 during the sixth year of employment.
