Description
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of Latinx culture
Responsibilities:
- Bridge information from schools on enrollment paperwork, attendance, school performance issues, school policies and procedures, health notices, conferences, teacher or administrative communications
- Participate with families at school conferences and IEP meetings
- Act as a communication liaison from parents to school or school to parents including home visits when appropriate
- Communicate with appropriate teachers and other district personnel as necessary on academic matters
- Promote family participation in school conferences and events
- Promote student self-advocacy and relationship building
- Lead student affinity groups during school day
Compensation: Starting salary range is $23.44 – $27.13 per hour.
