Kids First Head Volleyball Coach

Description:
Oversee daily practice and weekly competition schedules for Middle School Volleyball. Provide bus supervision for all out-of-town competitions, and locker room supervision throughout the season. Build quality relationships with middle school youth and maintain cooperative partnerships with paid and volunteer coaches. Build a strong communication network with program staff, parents, and community. Provide inventory management of all supplies, equipment, and uniforms and report competition scores to the OMS Activities Coordinator. 

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED – two or four-year degree in an education related field preferred. Volleyball coaching experience including foundational skill development required. Excellent inter/intra-personal skills. Focus on leadership and the community of Owatonna as a whole are highly desired. Strong technology skills beneficial.  Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Schedule:
* Season is August 29, 2024 to October 15, 2024
* Girls Basketball Parent/Athlete Meeting Scheduled for August 22, 2024 at 6:00 pm. 
* Practice time approximately 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM. (Can vary due to coaches available time)

Pay Rate:
$1,475 per head coach per season
