Industrial Technology Teacher

The Education District serves 6 member school districts in southeastern Minnesota with a total enrollment of approximately 7,000 pupils.  The Education District employs 140 staff, has an annual budget of approximately $13 million, and has been recognized for its partnerships with other service agencies.  In addition to its special education services, the Education District operates Federal Setting IV programs, Title III programs, countywide Alternative Education, 5RiversOnline – a comprehensive online school, regional Perkins, and other at risk programming.

Goodhue County Education District has a 1.0 FTE position open for an Industrial Technology Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  

Job Summary:  Responsible for providing education to students so that intellectual, emotional, developmental and social needs are met according to the district and state standards, that will foster life-long learning and good citizenship.

Required Qualifications, Education and Experience:  Minnesota Teaching License in Technology Education (or ability to attain MN licensure or an out of field permission,if not licensed in Technology Education, prior to employment)

Preferred Qualifications, Education and Experience:  Looking for a candidate that demonstrates strong collaboration skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each student.
