Description
The McGregor Public School District has a part-time opening for an Industrial Arts teacher in the areas of Construction (.215 FTE) and Transportation (.215 FTE) for the 2024-2025 school year. Applicants must have a growth mindset with the ability to adapt to an ever-changing educational environment.
McGregor ISD #4 is a stable, financially sound school district that is located between Duluth and Brainerd and serves approximately 450 PreK-12th grade students. McGregor is a beautiful area with many outdoor recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, hunting, ATV, and bike trails. McGregor has an experienced staff and is very willing to support a new teacher.
The ideal candidate will:
· Have a working knowledge of and implement the Minnesota State Standards, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices and strategies, as well as students’ learning styles and needs.
· Create lessons and learning environments that are safe, respectful, and highly engaging.
· Collaborate and communicate regularly with families.
· Bring a positive attitude/energy to our team.
