HS MEDIA CENTER SPECIALIST – DISTRICT TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION

We offer an early learning center for preschool and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for Fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center provides students with opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers and cabinetry.

Position Available: 
HIGH SCHOOL MEDIA CENTER SPECIALIST DISTRICT TECHNOLGY INTEGRATION

Description:        

• Support the process/maintain all aspects of media center.
• Provide formal and informal instruction in information skills, production of materials, and the use of information and instructional technologies.
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Assist in ordering and inventory of media materials.
• Supervision support staff
• Works with technology and its integration.
• Assists Principal and District Director in determining technology Inservice needs.
• Assists staff to ensure technology is utilized to the fullest extent possible through meaningful integration into the District adopted curriculum

           
Qualifications:                                   

Library Media Specialist Tier License
Possess: technology skills and ability to troubleshoot computer needs and has organizational skills and the able to follow complex processes.
Has experience with staff development or training.

Start Date:                              
2024-2025 School Year; per Master Teacher Agreement

Wage/Benefits:                       
Dependent on experience; per Master Teacher Agreement; Benefit package available
